Lately, I've spent a lot of time reading internet reviews. What I've come to realize is people on the internet are really freaken nuts.

After about three weeks of being mostly home-bound, we were feeling ready to get out and experience a bit of New England.

When I started writing this blog, I intended it to be a fun way to document our travels and maybe help folks who were thinking about making a similar change.

We were knocking things off our to-do list, spending time with friends and family, and having fun sightseeing. That's when disaster struck and derailed our plans.

When my brother suggested waking up at 4:45 a.m. to go watch hot air balloons launch at a local festival, my initial reaction was "Drop dead, brother."

We spent last week "moochdocking" or "driveway surfing" at my brother's house. We won't lie: staying in a nice spacious house again was pretty sweet!

It's not every day someone threatens to shoot you dead for walking down a lakeside path.  So when it does happen, it really is quite memorable.

Central Pennsylvania was a beautiful place to begin our travels and it perfectly melded several characteristics we were looking for.

Apologies for the blog silence recently (I know it's kept you up at night...)  It turns out, blowing your life up is extremely time consuming!

As we continue to sort, toss, donate and pack our belongings, the reality of moving out of our house looms large.
