Campground Review: Pensacola Beach RV Resort, Pensacola Beach, Florida

This is one of the few RV "resorts" we've visited that actually felt like a resort

Campground Review: Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

This is a beautiful state park campground that combines all the space and privacy of a public park with the amenities of a private campground.

Campground Review: Stagecoach RV Park, St. Augustine, Florida

This is a pretty typical commercial campground in a good location for checking out St. Augustine.

Campground Review: Pensacola RV Park, Pensacola, Florida

This is a typical commercial RV park located just north of Pensacola. It was convenient for us as we traveled west across I-10, but it's not somewhere we'd go out of our way to return to.

Campground Review: Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

This is an awesome campground located just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches we've seen.

Campground Review: Three Rivers State Park, Sneads, Florida

This is a very small campground convenient to I-10 and located on a beautiful lake (Lake Seminole).

Campground Review: Suwannee River State Park, Live Oak, Florida

This is a very small campground in a very small Florida State Park. There is wide variation in the sites, but most are pretty nice, and given the full hook-ups and low price, it's definitely worth a stop if you're traveling across the panhandle.

Campground Review: Compass RV Park, St. Augustine, Florida

This private campground, located in St. Augustine, came under new management about a year before our visit, and they have been working hard to upgrade it. As private campgrounds go, it's pretty nice, but it's still a private campground which, in our experience, means more money for less space and privacy.
