Well, hello!

The last travelogue I wrote was back in the Summer after we'd crossed the country from west to east. What followed was six months of catching up with friends and family after a two-year hiatus due to Covid.

After 5+ years on the road, here is some of the best advice we've received, and the tips we'd pass on to new RVers who are just starting out.

For this post, we’re takin it back to 1991, firing up the boombox, and blastin out some vintage Boyz II Men.

Recently, Kevin, Thor, and I took a drive to Borrego Springs, a small town located about two hours east of San Diego in the Southern California desert.

Did I play some role in bringing on this dumpster fire of a year??

I can't remember anything. Ever. At all. Big things, little things, conversations, names, faces, events... all of it disappears quickly. Through the years, I've just relied on various tricks to help me get through life, which brings me to my cell phone.

There are a lot of times being a nomadic full-time RV traveler is awesome. The middle of a global pandemic is not one of them.

Note: My blog is still way behind, but friends and family keep checking in to see what's going on during this highly unusual time, so I figured I would post a real time update and share some information that might be helpful.

On October 1st, we were in Michigan preparing to head south after spending a phenomenal Summer along the Great Lakes. By November 1st, we were in North Carolina discussing whether we should call it quits and settle down.
